Family organization

I have never been one who has ever been particularly organized.  I have the best intentions of course, but some how reality always seems to get in the way or the practical applications that it takes to actually make things come together.  But I have been working on stuff and slowly but surely, the boxes and boxes of papers and other miscellaneous crap that has been hauled from move to move is slowly swindling into an almost manageable stack of stuff.

Having out of town company that one was really excited about does help and definitely gives outside motivation, but that is another story entirely.

Anyway, Marquella has been wanting us to work out as a family and she wants to create a schedule for us, and conveniently a friend shared a link to some awesome weekly charts that I printed out.  I also found an older family notebook that I had started to work on, so I think between the both of them, there will be some good ideas for us to get organized and motivated.  It helps that I have children who are old enough to actually help with with the project as a family and I don't have to do it alone.  Definitely will help to not get completely overwhelmed with things.  Last night we started, this weekend we're going to work on it some more.

I can't wait to get things in order because it will help get the clutter out of my brain so I can focus on more important things that I hope will bring our family together and allow me to get my priorities straight when it comes to pursuing my film making goals.

Less distractions all around is always a good thing.
